Let’s help out Haiti— it’s going to be a long process and we can’t stop now. I’m offering this print in particular to raise money for Doctors Without Borders, an absolutely wonderful group of people who do amazing things all over the world, but are especially needed in Haiti right now. The prints are 11X14 and cost $35.00. The first 100 sold will be signed and numbered, so order now. Or you can donate directly by clicking here. Thank you for your support in this worthy cause.

Great idea! Love the print. Thanks for supporting Haiti. I’m hoping I’m one of the first 100 to purchase one! Would love to proudly display YOUR signature on a print in my home. Thanks for making this fun for your fans!

Thanks Mary. The girl in your illustration resembles Geraldine, a young Haitian who was adopted by my friend Sandy about 4 years ago. You are correct in your assessment that it will be a long process, longer than anyone can imagine. Many Haitians were living well below subsistance level before the earthquake. Afterwards they were reduced to nothing. The aid, rebuilding and re-booting the country will be many, many, many years in the making.
Doctors Without Borders is a wonderful organization. After their work has wound down in Haiti the people will need opportunities. Check out Trickle Up. They offer small business loans to women in third world countries. Their work changes women’s lives profoundly.

Thanks, Mary, for using your beautiful gift to help bring some light and wonder back into a little Haitian girl’s face. I am so proud to purchase your print and to support Doctors Without Borders, an organization I support already.
My understanding is that the art of Haiti is beautiful, lively, and colorful, not unlike your own!
Thanks again for your insight and caring. Beauty will help bring back the Light to Haiti.

Thank you for this opportunity to own a M.E. print and help Haiti at the same time. I’m going to follow your lead and do the same on my blog.

Dear Mary,
I also ordered one of the prints and was delighted that you had signed it! It’s a lovely picture which I will frame and hang in my office at work, reminding me of your talent, generosity to others, and kindness. Your art has brought me so much joy over so many years.
Thank you,
Marilyn

Dear Mary,
I received my print several weeks ago and just got it back from the framers. I LOVE IT!! We matted it with a deep tangerine mat and then a rich yellow-gold one (colors that are reflected in the little girl’s dress). Then we picked out a simple black molding for the frame. It hangs in my home office and brings such joy to my eyes! Thank you so much for this opportunity for us and for Doctors Without Borders.
Thank you and many blessings,
Michele
