First Book First Book is a national charitable organization that fights illiteracy by giving children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own their first new books. This partnership is significant to Mary Engelbreit Studios because of the important role books have played in Mary's life – whether admiring and learning from illustrated children's books as a young girl or reading avidly as an adult. A portion of the proceeds of Mary's Make a Difference poster goes to First Book.

Boys & Girls Town of Missouri Boys & Girls Town's mission is to improve the lives of children with emotional and behavioral problems through superior, family-focused services. Their treatment programs employ a strength-based approach and help each child discover the talents & strengths in themselves. By reinforcing positive behaviors, they help children improve their self-esteem and develop positive relationships with their peers and families. Mary Engelbreit Studios is proud to support the initiatives of this great organization.
