Mary's Personal Portfolio

Mary has often said that she would still draw even if she hadn't found success as an artist. However, she still creates art "off the clock" for her own personal enjoyment. As you can see below, Mary frequently experiments with different materials and techniques, showing the true depth of her amazing talent.
The pieces below are just a small sample of her never-before-seen personal portfolio.

Pencil on Textured Colored Paper

"Ann Estelle Ice"
Mary's most famous character isn't always so sweet,
sometimes she gets a little attitude... much like Mary herself!

"Circus Family"
The circus is a frequent subject for Mary, a carryover
from what used to be an enormous collection of clowns.
She has since trimmed down the collection, but the subject
continues to spark her creativity.

Oil on Canvas

"If The Hat Fits, Wear It"
Because she is most comfortable illustrating with pencils
and markers, Mary has often said her experiments as a painter
would "never see the light of day!" She's sharing this piece, though,
showing that witty quotes always find their way into her work.

This stunning illustration shows Mary's true gift
for capturing quiet, personal moments.

"I'll Pencil You In"
Mary has considered creating a calendar of these
lightly shaded pencil sketches, going so far as
to create this image for a potential cover.
