Outstanding Industry Contribution
The Gift for Life organization presented Mary with this award for the timeless quality of her work, her unique personal style, the countless applications of her creativity, and the respect and admiration she has garnered amongst her peers in the gift industry.

LIMA honored Mary with prestigious award for creativity and innovation in art licensing for the year 2002.
December 2002: New York Times Best-Seller List
Mary's lavishly illustrated version of Clement C. Moore's
"The Night Before Christmas" hit No. 2 on the prestigious best-seller list for children's picture books. The book was on the list for more than 11 weeks.
May 2002: Louie Award
The Greeting Card Association awarded a "Louie" to Sunrise/ME for Mary's gold-foiled "Believe" Santa Christmas card. "Louies" are awarded each year at the International Greeting Card Awards competition.
April 2002: Celebrate Literacy Award
Mary was honored by the Mid Rivers Area (St. Charles, Missouri) International Reading Association with a "Celebrate Literacy Award" due to Mary's emphasis on reading and learning in her illustrations and for her support of First Book.
February 2002: Artist for the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games
Mary was honored to create a commemorative illustration for the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
August 2001: Merchandising Achievement Award
Gifts & Decorative Accessories magazine awarded Mary Engelbreit Studios a Merchandising Achievement Award for the "Make a Difference Day" campaign that benefitted Mary's national charitable organization, First Book.
June 2001: Best Art License of the Year Award
LIMA (International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association)

LIMA honored Mary with prestigious award for creativity and innovation in art licensing for the year 2000.
June 2001: Working Woman 500
Mary was named to the distinguished list of the top 500 women business owners in America. The list was published in the June 2001 issue of Working Woman magazine.
May 2001: St. Louis Walk of Fame
On May 20, 2001, Mary was honored with a brass star on the "Walk of Fame" sidewalk in her hometown, St. Louis, for her achievements and contributions to culture.
April 2001: Calendar Marketing Association Gold Award
CMA presented Mary Engelbreit with the Best Contemporary Art – Desk Calendar Award for 2000. The competition received 374 entries from 134 publishers.
January 2001: Best-Selling Properties for 2000
Mary Engelbreit was listed in Giftware Business magazine as the second best-selling licensed property (second to Winnie the Pooh) for the year 2000.

White House Easter Egg Roll Artist
Mary was honored by President Clinton as the Easter Egg Roll 2000 commemorative artist.

The award honored Mary Engelbreit's HOME COMPANION magazine for 1999.
February 2000: Amazon.com Associate of the Month
Amazon honored the official Mary Engelbreit website, www.maryengelbreit.com.
February 2000: Alzheimer's Association Public Awareness Award
AA presented this award to Mary for her contributions to their 1999 holiday card program.

LIMA honored Mary for licensing creativity in 1998.
June 1998: Anti-Defamation League Distinguished Community Service Award
This award recognized Mary's themes of diversity and tolerance in her artwork.
June 1998: Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Communication/entertainment award.
