Dec. 2, 2005 (St. Louis, MO) – To benefit the victims of the devastating hurricanes of 2005, Mary Engelbreit Studios (MES) offered to match donations to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund from its employees, licensees, and the staff of Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion magazine. The donations were collected over two months and resulted in generous contributions totaling $5,250.00. MES sent a matching donation, bringing the total contribution to $10,500.00.
“We sincerely appreciate the generosity of all those who participated in our fundraising efforts,” said Greg Hoffmann, MES CEO. “The need for relief will continue for months and years to come, and we hope that our contribution will help those who need it most. The victims of these devastating storms remain in all of our thoughts and prayers.”
