As promised, here are a BUNCH of more photos of some great people and projects from the MEHC Workshop this past weekend. I especially love all the cool nametags that everyone came up with! I want to thank all of our wonderful panelists, instructors, sponsors and everyone who came. It was a lot of fun. Enjoy!

We TOTALLY need a little ME in Sarasota right now. Hey Mary!?! How about a sea turtle themed collection of stickers, papers, cards and prints. They could have a “green” ecological message… our little seaturtles could sure use some help and encouragement right about now…
Please tell me that the designs on the birdhouse from Charlotte Lyons class will be on a fabric near me soon. Especially the Glorious, Gorgeous floral riot found on the main part of the house.
Sounds like a complete blast!!!
Oh what fun we had! And seeing myself loaded down with my newly made treasures to display at the luncheon – what a treat! The best part is being pictured with two new friends. Everyone was so friendly and so talented.
I had the most awesome time! Thank you so much Mary, Barbara and all the other ladies who made this such a wonderful event. I will DEFINITELY be back next year!
Mary – thank you for so generously allowing us to tour your studio. For me, that was an absolute dream come true!
What fun it was to be there…thank you so much. When is Barbara going to get one of those filters on the camera…a haircut and makeup would have helped. At least you can see I was having a ball!
I’m so very impressed by all the creative goodies that the ladies produced at your workshop weekend! I’m not especially “crafty” myself but can do a few things. One of my dearest friends got me to paint furniture and decor items for several fundraisers we hosted for our Boys & Girls Club several years ago. We did an ME planter made from a carpenter’s tool kit. Used black and white checkerboard for the trim and put bunches of cherry stencils all over the place along with polks dots! Yes, it sold at the auction, too! We’ve done this a few times. We have thought about painting more furniture and small pieces. Have to find the time! I’m retired but am a full-time B&G Club board president and am always working to raise more money for our kids! I’d love to hold another “Funky Furniture” auction and paint a bunch of chairs this time! One year we took a broken chair and turned it into a planter and also hand-decorated a modern wooden bar with 2 matching bar stool. It was bought by some very saavy auction patrons who made our day when they put in the winning bid! Our inspirations so often have come from dear Mary! I think my friend and I should try to attend the next workshop weekend. She would absolutely die if she could go! So please do have another one next year!
this was a wonderful event, everyone was great! thanks for posting my “Sitting pretties” from Claudine Hellmuth’s workshop! She’s the best!
Your workshop looks like creative fun was had by all!

Thanks so much for the pictures. Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. Perhaps….next year I’ll make it.
So wish I could have brought my 79 year old mother to this workshop. She has been an avid fan of yours forever–all because of the little Schnauser dog you have in a lot of your beautiful pictures. Last Mothers Day I made her little Scotty dog cookies and this mothers’ day I am using your cookie cutters from Michals’ to make some ME flower sugar cookies. They turned out so cute. Thanks for all your inpspiration. Hopefully some day my mom will meet you!!
Mary and Babs,
Thank you so much for inviting me to play!! I had so much fun. Every single second was awesome. I am inspired and rejuvenated. Thank you, thank you!!!

Yea! So happy to have made the blog! It was such a wonderful time and I am ready to do it all over again!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! It was the best! A dream come true. The level of creativity was so energizing! Also, because I was out of my work element, I actually had time to do some creative crafting! I had forgotten how much fun digging in a table of crafting supplies and using a glue gun, and scraps of fabric and buttons can be! It was an experience of a lifetime. I’ll be a regular at anything Mary is a part of. Cruise anyone?
I had such a WONDERFUL time, and was so fortunate to have met some fabulous women from around the country! I came home simply inspired, and was quite delighted to see the photo that Jan snapped of me right here on your blog!
Thank you ALL (Mary, Barbara, all of the instructors & panelists, volunteers & participants) for making my time positively perfect!
Thank you for sharing these photos! What an amzing group of women. I’m so inspired. One of the first employees of etsy is speaking today at scad in atlanta at 12:30 if anyone from atlanta is reading this! (under may 5 atlanta)

Beautiful!!
Great shots Barbara! I recognize my old liver spotted hands punching circles for my travel tray and my fabric flower. It was LOADS of fun and I’ll think terribly positive thoughts that you will do it again next year.
Thanks for sharing all these GREAT pictures…especially the ones of my folding travel tray and nametag
We all had such a wonderful time!
