Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion Magazine is NOT coming back. I want to make that clear right off the bat, because I know how much you all still miss it. Every day, we hear from people who miss the magazine, via Facebook, e-mail, Twitter, hand-written postcard, messenger pigeon, etc., and we always feel bad because we never have any good news for them. But today, I don’t have to feel so bad. Today I get to tell you that maryengelbreit.com is now carrying back issues of MEHC!! We gathered up every copy we could find from around the office and even raided Mary’s own personal stash. Quantities are almost hilariously limited! There are no more secret stashes for us to raid. Once these are gone, they’re gone. So, unless you’re one of the lucky few who already have every issue, (My hat’s off to you, if you do! Most impressive!) we might just have some older issues that you’ve never seen before. So, even if they’re not ‘new’ issues, per se, they’ll still be new to you! Check ‘em out.

Will is Mary Engelbreit’s totally awesome son who occasionally contributes to the EngelBlog, where his little self-written biographies that he puts at the end of his posts have become increasingly flattering towards himself. Also, he’s super handsome.

  1. Help! I remodeled and the builder threw out the issue that had a bed and breakfasts recipes. One I particularly loved was the green chili strata with tortillas. Does anyone know the issue date or have the recipe. Oh, thank you so much!!!

  2. I have about 30 issues of MEHC. I can’t keep them forever *sigh*, but I can enjoy them in another way. I have scanned articles, photos, recipes that I adore and plan to shellac the pages on to a fabulous chest of drawers! Now THAT will be a keepsake :)

  3. I have 28 magazines that date from October/November 2000 to December08/January 2009. They do not have the paper dolls as I cut them out and put them on magnetic paper for my fridge for my granddaughters’ enjoyment. Is anyone interested in purchasing them?
