Start Planning Your Weekend

Barbara received a great card from someone this year that said ” Two rights don’t make a wrong, but three will get you back on the highway.”  It…

1. Made us laugh and

2. Made us think of all the cards I’ve drawn about journeys, adventures, paths, and forks in the road.

We hope at least one of the adventures you have planned will bring you to our doorstep for this year’s one and only Home Companion Workshop on June 9th and 10th. Of course we will have, as always, Charlotte Lyons and Kathy Curotto teaching 2 fabulous classes each AND, as our surprise guest instructor this year, we’ll have the amazing Amy Powers teaching for the first time ever! We are so proud to be the first ones to twist her arm and get her to do this—- many have asked her, but we were the only ones rude enough to keep harassing her until she said yes.

Details coming soon!!

  1. It’s about time we get another little tid bit for the MEHC workshop! LOL!! I was wondering…. Planning the child care and husband’s frozen dinners as we speak…plus I may take a friend!!!

  2. Have been watching for more news — this “teaser” helped! Can’t wait for further details. I already have my calendar marked.

  3. How true, Wahine! My niece and I live in Katy, Tx. We drove last summer…omg! How fun! Mary, Barbara, Charlotte, and Kathy treat you like you are old friends. Amy is the same way. You need to hope that plane or drive the car! Take a friend!

  4. Because of 2 total shoulder replacement surgeries I can only be there in spirit. Like Mary, I think, Spirit is my middle name, although my shoulder’s somewhat lame. Spirit shows in my game because I am a New Jersey dame. It seeks not fame, only honoring its name. Spirit/Mary and Spirit/Doe, in my heart the name’s the same.

  5. I have been a fan for many many years, ever since my daughter was little. At one time I had most of her books and still do. It is something my daughter and I enjoyed together. I really enjoy her art.I enjoy her illustration and her messages. There is always a little girl in each of us.
