Join Club Mary

Were you like me when you were little and always forming clubs with your friends? My sister Alexa and I started a club with all the kids in our neighborhood. Our arch enemies were all the kids who lived on the next street over, except we let them join our club within the first week because:

1. they were all really nice, and
2. one of them had a very cool treehouse.

I started an arts and crafts club, where we made every project in my big McCall's Make It Book, one by one, often against the other club members' will.

Then my sister and I and our friends Ginna and Helen, also sisters, started a club just so we would be able to fix up a clubhouse in their attic. As soon as we got it just the way we wanted it, we never went up there again.

Well, that's why I started Club Mary -- kind of like Club Med, but without the beach or the hot guys.
