Cozy Night-Light

Cozy Night-Light

Courtesy of Mary Engelbreit’s “The Best Christmas Ever”

How comforting these adorable night lights are. This is the kind of project that becomes easier and faster to make in quantity, so you might consider an assembly line. The shades have been designed so they can be changed for every season or occasion.

Materials

Night-light with shade
White cardstock
Seasonal images
Stickers or other adhesive decorations
Fringe
Velcro dots

Here’s How

1. Remove the shade from the night-light. Trace the shade onto cardstock and cut out the shape.

2. On a covered surface, in a well-ventilated area (preferably outdoors), use spray adhesive to attach the holiday images to the paper pattern, smoothing out any bumps. Paste on other decorations as desired. Glue the fringe to the bottom edge of the paper pattern.

3. Attach the Velcro dots to the top and bottom corners of the shade and the paper pattern. Stick the paper pattern to the shade and attach to the night-light.
