Women’s History Month 2024

Women’s History Month 2024

These programs honor the accomplishments and achievements of women in St. Louis, the U.S., and the world. From artists to authors, scientists, doctors, and entrepreneurs, great women’s stories abound.

The Living St. Louis archives contain women trailblazers from St. Louis, women like Annie Malone, Mary Engelbreit, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, and more!

There are even more incredible women’s stories in POV’s Women’s History Month collection. POV (a cinema term for “point of view”) is television’s longest-running showcase for independent nonfiction films. POV premieres some of the best, boldest, and most innovative programs every year on PBS.

Watch live on Nine PBS or stream anytime on the PBS App (look for the Women’s History Month collection on the app which includes additional stories about Lily Gladstone, Augusta Savage, Marian Anderson, Roberta Flack, and more).
